Terms of Use
Effective 2026-09-24
These terms describe EarnTime personal use and the family service. The app is free for now, with no subscription or in-app purchase required.
The service and its operator
EarnTime is provided by ImprvHealth Solutions, LLC. These terms govern the EarnTime website and family service. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app license. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
Guardian responsibility
The person setting up an EarnTime family must be an adult parent or legal guardian with authority to manage the child's device. Use EarnTime only for your own permitted personal or parental device management. Do not use it to manage other adults without authority, monitor people covertly, or manage organizational devices. You are responsible for choosing appropriate apps, grade level, reward limits and schedules, and explaining the routine to your child.
Accounts and access
Personal use does not require an EarnTime account or device pairing. Personal authorization provides voluntary app limits on your own device, without the protections of parent-managed child authorization. Guardians authenticate with Sign in with Apple. Children use a device paired by their guardian and do not create email/password accounts. Protect your Apple account, local Parent PIN and pairing codes. Do not share a pairing code publicly. Contact support if you believe someone has accessed your family account without permission. Account recovery uses the same Apple account; EarnTime cannot recover or reset your Apple password.
Free access
EarnTime is free for now. No subscription or in-app purchase is required for the current app. If paid features are introduced later, their price and terms will be presented before purchase. Using today's free app does not authorize a future charge.
Screen Time and learning limits
EarnTime relies on Apple's device permissions and Screen Time frameworks. Availability and behavior depend on supported operating-system versions, device configuration and granted permissions. A lost permission, device change, system limitation or service interruption can affect features. Review device settings regularly and keep an independent way to access essential communication. EarnTime is a learning-practice tool, not a school assessment, emergency service or guarantee of academic outcomes.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, exploit pairing or reward controls, reverse engineer private service credentials, or upload unlawful content. We may limit access that threatens security or violates these terms, subject to applicable law. The app, website and associated materials are protected by intellectual-property laws; you retain rights in information you provide.
Privacy and deletion
The Privacy Policy explains the information used to operate EarnTime. A guardian can initiate account deletion inside the app. Deletion removes access to the cloud family service and associated active records. Local restrictions and data on paired child devices require separate guardian review; deleting an account is not a remote device-wipe command.
Changes and availability
We may improve or discontinue features. We will provide notice when required by law and will not charge for a paid feature without an explicit purchase. We aim to provide a reliable service, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every device restriction will operate without error. Any limitations on warranties or responsibility apply only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.
