Start for myself

Choose “Start for Myself” to use EarnTime without a cloud account. Practice Math, Logic or English, or approve individual Screen Time access and select protected apps. To earn time, begin a challenge from a protected app. Practice alone does not grant time. Use “Turn Off App Limits” from the personal home screen when you want to stop enforcement.

Set up your family

1. On the guardian’s device, choose the guardian role and continue with Apple.
2. Create a pairing code. On the child’s device, choose “Pair Child Device,” then scan the QR code or enter the code manually.
3. Complete Apple’s Family Controls authorization on the child device with its guardian.
4. Choose the child’s grade, protected content, reward limits and schedules in Parent Settings.

EarnTime requires iOS or iPadOS 26.5 or later. Each person keeps their own Apple Account. The child and approving parent or guardian must be in the same Apple Family Sharing group. A guardian approves Screen Time access on the child device. QR pairing does not replace Apple’s authorization.

Sign in or recover access

Use the same Apple account you used to create your EarnTime family. EarnTime has no separate account password. If you cannot access your Apple account, use Apple’s account recovery. Never share an Apple password, verification code or pairing code with support.

Delete your account

Account deletion starts in the app’s guardian area. Read the steps and what deletion removes.
