Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-09-24

EarnTime connects personal or parent-guided learning practice with screen-time routines. This policy explains what stays on your device, what supports family sync, and how to control your information.

Who operates EarnTime

EarnTime is operated by ImprvHealth Solutions, LLC. This policy covers the EarnTime iPhone and iPad app, its family service, and this website. Contact support@imprvhealth.com for privacy questions or write to 59 Timbergate Trl, Blairsville, GA 30512-6016, United States.

Personal use

For myself mode does not create an EarnTime account. Its optional name, practice settings, learning history, Screen Time selections and reward state stay on the device and are not synchronized to our family service. Opening website links may generate ordinary website requests described below. Personal Screen Time access is voluntary and can be revoked in Apple Settings. Review those settings before removing the app; Apple device backups may retain app data under your backup settings.

Camera and QR pairing

Scanning a pairing code uses the camera only when you open the scanner and grant permission. QR recognition happens on the device. EarnTime does not save or upload camera images. Only the one-time pairing code and device-registration information are sent to the family service when you confirm Pair Device. Manual code entry is available without camera access.

Guardian accounts

Guardians sign in with Apple. We receive an Apple account identifier and, if provided by Apple, an email address and its verification/private-relay status. We store family membership, authentication-session records, and an encrypted Apple refresh token to operate sign-in and account deletion. EarnTime does not receive your Apple password.

Family and learning information

The service stores the optional child display name entered by a guardian, grade, math level, family rules, and paired-device information such as a chosen device name, platform, installation identifier, and pairing/revocation timestamps. A paired device can send completed-challenge summaries, including correct-answer and attempt counts, accuracy, reward minutes, completion time, and skill-mastery scores. These records are linked to the family account and support synchronization and progress views.

Information that stays on the child device

Apple's opaque Screen Time app/category selections, detailed question attempts, local Parent PIN protection, pending requests, active reward state, and local enforcement history remain on the child device. We do not upload the Screen Time selection tokens. EarnTime does not request a child's email address, password, contacts, precise location, photos, or advertising identifier.

Children and guardian control

Family mode is intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. A child does not create an independent cloud account. Guardians choose whether to pair a child device, which optional profile information to provide, and the learning and screen-time settings. Use a nickname rather than a full name. Guardians can review family information, revoke paired-device access, and request deletion. If you believe a child has used EarnTime without appropriate guardian involvement, contact us so we can investigate and remove associated information.

Why information is used

We use information to authenticate guardians, pair devices, synchronize family settings, personalize learning practice, display learning progress, protect the service, provide support, and complete deletion requests. We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share it with data brokers. EarnTime contains no advertising SDK or social feed.

Service providers and website requests

Apple provides platform authentication and Screen Time services. Render hosts the API, and Supabase stores the family-service database. The website hosting provider processes ordinary network information such as IP address, request path, device/browser information and timestamps to deliver and secure pages. Our website does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not contain a marketing signup form. Providers process service information under their applicable terms. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Storage and security

Family-service information is hosted in the United States. Network requests use HTTPS; sensitive server tokens are encrypted, and app credentials use the device Keychain. We limit access according to the role of the guardian or paired device. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, Apple verification codes, or pairing secrets to support.

Retention and deletion

Active family information is retained to provide the service until the guardian requests deletion. In the guardian area, open Account and choose Delete Account and complete the confirmation. The service revokes its Apple authorization and removes the guardian account, family profiles, policies, learning summaries and paired-device sessions from the active database. A limited deletion receipt is retained to reconcile and report the outcome of the request. Provider backups and security logs may retain information temporarily under their retention cycles; they are not used for normal app functionality. Deleting the cloud account does not remotely erase every paired device or automatically remove its local Screen Time restrictions. A guardian must also review Screen Time settings and remove local app data on each child device.

Your choices and requests

You may use Apple's private email relay, omit an optional child name, edit family settings, revoke a pairing, or delete the account. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, a copy of your information, deletion, or restrictions on processing by contacting support@imprvhealth.com. We may need to verify your authority over the family account before acting. You may complain to the relevant privacy regulator where that right applies.

Policy changes

We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Material changes to family-data practices will be communicated before they take effect, and additional consent will be requested where required. Questions can be sent to support@imprvhealth.com.
